Monkey See, Monkey Do

Ok, so seriously, Martin so wants to be like his big sister! Today at lunch (Cafe Roma-our favorite!) the kids were drinking Fanta. Kate decided mid-meal that she wanted water. So we got a bottle of water and poured her some. Martin then said he wanted water. Brad said "You have Fanta-you need to finish it first." So, he picks it up and chugs it and then says "Water." She finished her water and then asked for more Fanta. Immediately, Martin did the same! Then tonight at supper, we had rice and noodles with soup, beef, and cabbage, none of which Martin really likes except the beef. He despises the cabbage, so we don't even put it on his plate anymore. Kate, however, likes it, so she had some on her plate. In the middle of the meal, she says something about liking cabbage, so Martin asks for some. Brad put a little on his plate, and Martin eats a HUGE forkful, grimacing the whole time. But he ate it all! It's so cute to watch - he totally adores her!
Miss Kamrynn-Rose on the other hand, is completely independent and doesn't wish to imitate anyone at all. She loves her big sister, but is not afraid to set her own course! She is hilarious - she may be our most independent of them all - a definite leader! She looked so stinkin' cute today in her little ruffled skirt that sticks way out because of her big behind! I'm going to have fun playing dress up with her! And for those who know me well, I'm happy to report that she wore her hair bow for a big portion of the day yesterday without pulling it out. I will have a bow-head baby after all!!! We have her saying "Hi ya'll" now, which she said for mama j and papa j today. It was fun!
We love you all! Tomorrow we are going to the Nile river and to the Karama house to love on some kids there and deliver some goodies!
