So there are things we take for granted that all kids know (you roll the cars, color...on paper...with crayons, etc.) Today was one of our new experiences for Martin and Kamrynn Rose...a trampoline. It was fun to watch them experience this new thing that was foreign to them. Kate and Sam knew instinctively what a trampoline was and what it did...whether from TV, friend's houses etc...so when we got our trampoline last year it was game on. For Martin and Kamrynn Rose there was much tentativeness when stepping on the trampoline for the first time. They stood by the entrance for a minute, worked their way to walking, Martin then preceeding to stomping around, then the jumping was on. Martin did most of the jumping, Kamrynn Rose fell and laughed...alot. At one point Martin is jumping around the perimeter of the trampoline and Kamrynn Rose is turning around and around watching him jump...which all led to falling on the trampoline and laughing!
FYI - the place with a trampoline is Cafe Roma, an Italian food restaurant. It has great pizza (which Martin did try some of today...and he liked it...it was a small victory :) They have a playground in the back and it makes for a fun lunch/playtime. It is our new once a week Ugandan tradition...and will continue when Kasey comes home!
That is the first half of our day...which is now turned into naptime...so America we will talk to you in a few hours...

How fun. I am sure there will be many, many of those kinds of new experiences when they get to America. It will be lots of fun getting to see that type of excitement.
